Came across this by overhearing a conversation about what the upcoming read was for the next book club in my local area. I can’t actually go to the meeting as I’m working, which is a shame as it transpires its not so simple to ‘make new friends’ having relocated to a new city.
Anyway, hearing that it was next on the agenda, I thought I would give it a go. If you can get past the Shakespeare quotations (and there’s quite a lot of them), which at times I got quite annoyed with – not to mention how pretentious it seemed (but then maybe that was the point?), its actually a good book. An enjoyable read 🙂
