Bonjour Tristesse & A Certain Smile – Francoise Sagan

I’ve been spending too much of my time in the bookshop recently, which will become apparent with upcoming posts. Anyway, the reason for this book? I decided I want to read some ‘modern classics’. Pretty impressive that the author wrote Bonjour Tristesse at 18 years after failing her first year exams at the Sorbonne. Another reason I quite like the penguin books are the little ‘intros’.

This is actually two books in one, very short and read in a day each. Similar themes. Yep, I rated them. For lots of reasons 🙂
