About once a month I head off to a shopping centre, being equidistant(ish) between the Westfield in Shepherds Bush and the one in Stratford means I could venture to either. Today it was really lovely weather, so I opted for Stratford to have a wander around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at the same time.
Although I travelled by car (easy parking), Westfield is directly on top of Stratford tube Station (central line), so it is easily accessible from central London. It claims to be the biggest (or certainly one of the biggest) shopping centres in Europe, so its got pretty much everything you need.
The Elizabeth Olympic Park is literally across the road from Westfield. I hadn’t wandered over there before, so it was nice to take advantage of the good weather.
